Shira Nafshi lives and works out of Concord, New Hampshire.  She believes that every horse is a unique individual, with his/her own needs - nutritionally, hoof-wise, and training-wise.  She approaches each horse with the philosophy that these three aspects need to work together for the horse to be truly healthy and happy.

Shira has been trimming for over 10 years and is a certified hoofcare provider. She has studied the hoof and the horse in depth, covering subjects that include founder, laminitis, contractions, navicular, anatomy, and the effects that shoes have on the hoof and the health of the horse in general. She received her certification through Equine Soundness (equinesoundness.com).

Shira is a student of the horse - she believes that every horse has something to teach, and she constantly strives to improve in all areas for the sake of the horses and owners with whom she works.
